Pocheon City Holds 'Integrity Golden Bell' Training to Strengthen Anti-Corruption and Integrity Capabilities

Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyun) announced on the 8th that it held the '2025 Pocheon City Integrity Golden Bell' on the 5th for all employees to strengthen anti-corruption and integrity capabilities and to spread a culture of integrity within the organization.

This Integrity Golden Bell event was conducted in a format where employees directly solved quizzes and actively participated. More than 110 employees took part, and the event served as an opportunity to enhance their understanding of key integrity-related laws and systems, such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials.

The Integrity Golden Bell was held as an individual competition over three rounds. Participants answered OX (true or false) quizzes, multiple-choice, and short-answer questions in sequence. In the final round, eight participants advanced and competed by writing their answers on a chalkboard to determine the winner.

Mayor Baek Younghyun stated, "I hope that through this Integrity Golden Bell, the integrity awareness and anti-corruption capabilities of Pocheon City officials have been further enhanced. We will continue to expand a culture of integrity within the organization through participatory training that increases educational effectiveness."

Pocheon City has used this Integrity Golden Bell as an opportunity to further strengthen the integrity capabilities of its employees. The city also plans to continue implementing various customized integrity initiatives to accelerate the realization of a trustworthy and transparent city for its citizens.
