View original imageShinan County in South Jeolla Province has newly introduced a "Selective Discount System" to its integrated admission ticket for major tourist attractions and has begun full-scale operation.
According to the county on September 8, the previous integrated admission ticket required visitors to purchase access to all five facilities as a bundle. However, with the implementation of this new system, visitors can now select the attractions they wish to visit and receive a discount accordingly.
The discount applies to five locations: Museum Park, 1004 Islands Bonsai Garden, Purple Island, Fossil Museum, and Seogak Museum. If visitors choose three or more of these attractions, a discount rate will be applied: 50% off for three attractions, 55% off for four, and up to 57% off when selecting all five. However, this discount is only available to individual visitors paying the standard rate; youth, military personnel, children, and groups must purchase tickets separately for each attraction.
The county expects this system to enhance visitor satisfaction, improve convenience for tourists, popularize the unique island garden culture, and contribute to revitalizing local tourism. Additionally, the county has established an online reservation system to improve accessibility for ticket purchases.
