Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province announced that it held the 16th Changwon Special Mayor's Cup Institutional, Corporate, and Recreational Soccer Tournament at Changwon Football Center and other venues over two days, from September 6 to 7.

View original imageThis tournament, which aims to foster labor-management harmony among local institutions and companies and to promote recreational sports through soccer, was divided into five divisions (three integrated divisions for institutions and companies, a youth division, and a senior division). The competition was conducted in both round-robin and tournament formats, with a total of 24 teams and approximately 600 participants.
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "Soccer is a representative team sport, and in this era where unity and cooperation are more important than ever, it is the perfect recreational activity.
