Gwangju Chamber of Commerce to Hold Three Practical Training Sessions for Company Employees
The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on September 4 that it will hold a series of three practical training courses for employees of its member companies this month.
The training sessions scheduled for this month include not only a core lecture on tax and accounting management, but also practical training on value-added tax (VAT) filing and tax-saving strategies, as well as labor management practices in accordance with the revised labor-related laws taking effect in 2025. These courses are expected to provide an opportunity for employees in tax, accounting, and human resources departments to enhance their practical skills.

Tax accountant Lee Seokjeong has been invited as the instructor and will deliver a seven-hour session, breaking down topics such as all matters related to tax invoices and corporate card usage, retirement benefits and pensions, and strategies for responding to tax audits.
Next, on September 17, in collaboration with the Seogwangju Tax Office, the chamber will host the "2025 On-site Taxpayer Law Class: VAT Curriculum" to strengthen practical VAT filing skills. Tax accountant Lee Yongyeon will be invited to lead a three-hour session focusing on practical VAT filing and tax-saving strategies.
On September 23, the course "Practical Human Resources and Labor Management from Hiring to Retirement, Part 2" will be held. We expect these sessions to be highly beneficial," adding, "We hope that this HR training will also serve as an opportunity to strengthen the ability to effectively respond to rapidly changing environments, such as the recent expansion of health and safety obligations due to the heatwave."
