View original imageThe play "Wind, Please Stop By" is set in a rural market in Ganghwado and tells the story of Sunja, who has lived her life embracing both affection and sorrow; Mr. Kim, who is etched into her memory; and Mr. Park, a husband who has never spoken a kind word to his wife. Through these three characters, the play depicts the heartfelt truths and bittersweet love that elderly couples keep buried in their hearts.
The story honestly portrays people who, even when standing at the threshold of death, live each day clinging to lingering attachments, and who, because of the years that have passed, end up living with regret.
Renowned Korean actors Son Sook and Son Byungho will take the lead roles in this performance, bringing to the stage the moving stories of ordinary people we encounter in our daily lives. The production aims to provide the audience with a deeply touching and memorable experience.
This performance was selected for the 2025 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project by the Arts Management Support Center. The event is hosted by the Arts Management Support Center and organized by the Su Theater Company and the Gochang Cultural Center.
