[2026 Early Admission] Dongduk Women's University, 10-Minute Creative Leader Interview
Minimum CSAT Requirement Set for Department of Pharmacy
Dongduk Women's University will admit 1,105 students within the regular quota through the 2026 early admission process. A total of eight types of admissions procedures will be operated, including student record-based, essay-based, and practical/performance-based evaluations.
The comprehensive student record-based admissions include the Dongduk Creative Leader Track, Equal Opportunity Special Track, Lifelong Learner Special Track, and the Specialized High School Graduate Special Track for currently employed graduates. The number of students to be selected through early admissions is 242, 12, 6, and 85, respectively.
The Dongduk Creative Leader Track aims to select creative individuals with potential related to their chosen major (or field). In the first stage, three times the number of available spots are selected based entirely on document review. In the second stage, 40% of the score comes from the first stage results and 60% from the interview. The interview is a document verification interview based on the materials submitted by the applicant and lasts about 10 minutes. For the Department of Pharmacy, a minimum academic achievement on the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) is required.
The Equal Opportunity Special Track selects a total of 12 students from among national merit recipients, low-income students, and students from rural areas. The Lifelong Learner Special Track selects a total of 6 students who are either at least 30 years old or have graduated from a specialized high school and worked at an industrial company for at least three years (including the semester immediately before graduation). The Specialized High School Graduate Special Track selects a total of 85 students who have graduated from a specialized high school and worked at an industrial company for at least three years (including the semester immediately before graduation), based entirely on document review.
The Student Record Academic Excellence Track selects a total of 244 students, based 100% on academic records. In the 2025 academic year, successful applicants generally had grades in the high 2nd to low 3rd range. For the Department of Pharmacy, the average was about 1.3.
The Essay Excellence Track selects a total of 229 students, based 100% on essay scores. The minimum academic achievement requirement for the College Scholastic Ability Test is the same as for the Student Record Academic Excellence Track: the sum of two subject areas must be within grade 7.
The Practical Excellence Track reflects 80% of the practical exam score and 20% of the academic record score for all departments. The practical exam score has a substantial effective weight of 87%, which is very high compared to the academic record score.
