Gwangsan District Council in Gwangju to Open 299th Extraordinary Session on the 4th
The Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju will hold its 299th extraordinary session for 12 days from September 4 to 15, during which it will review the second supplementary budget bill for 2025 and various ordinance bills.
During this extraordinary session, a total of 29 agenda items will be addressed, including the second supplementary budget bill, 19 ordinance bills, and 5 consent bills. The supplementary budget bill submitted by Gwangsan District increases the existing budget of 1.0446 trillion won by 160.6 billion won (15.38%), bringing the total to 1.2052 trillion won.
The main schedule includes a proposal explanation for the supplementary budget bill at the first plenary session on September 4, followed by preliminary reviews of the supplementary budget bill and ordinance bills by each standing committee from September 4 to 9. From September 10 to 12, the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts will review the supplementary budget bill that has undergone preliminary review. On September 15, the second plenary session will process the final agenda items and close the session.
