Tugetlocal Selected for Overseas Market Support Project
Accelerating Entry of Boryeong Mud Cosmetics into Southeast Asian Online Markets
On September 2, the city of Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province, announced that local company Tugetlocal Co., Ltd. has been selected for the "2025 Support Project for Small Manufacturers' Overseas Online Market Entry," organized by the Korea Marketing Promotion Agency. With this achievement, Boryeong Mud Cosmetics is set to officially enter the Indonesian market.
According to the city, Tugetlocal will receive support for the entire process required to export Boryeong Mud Cosmetics to Indonesia, including certification procedures with the Indonesian health authorities (BPOM), onboarding to online platforms, and local marketing.
In particular, the company plans to strengthen its connection with local consumers by entering major Southeast Asian platforms such as Shopee, TikTok, and Tokopedia, conducting content marketing using influencers, and creating multilingual detailed product pages.
Tugetlocal, led by CEO Hong Hyoeun, has built up global experience through achievements such as entering the duty-free shop at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, participating in KOTRA's export consultation in Singapore, and pioneering the Japanese market.
This entry into Indonesia is expected to serve as a key base for expanding into the Southeast Asian market and to enhance the competitiveness of Boryeong mud-based clean beauty products.
