Yeosu Marine FC U-15 to Be Established... Recruiting New Members
Final Selection After Entry Test for Elementary and Middle School Students
Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province announced on September 1 that it will begin recruiting new members for the local youth soccer team, 'Yeosu Marine FC U-15,' starting in September as part of the team's official launch.
The recruitment is open to sixth-grade elementary school students and middle school students who have both passion and talent for soccer. The final players will be selected through a rigorous skills assessment and physical fitness test.
Local native Coach Joo Gwangsun, who graduated from Yeosu Mipyung Elementary School and Yeosu Gubong Middle School and later played for a professional semi-professional team, plans to take the lead in nurturing local talent. 'Yeosu Marine FC U-15,' which is scheduled for official establishment in March next year, will conduct intensive training after this year's recruitment, aiming to participate in nationwide leagues and tournaments.
