1,052 Students to Be Selected Through Early Admission
Not Subject to the "Six-Time Limit" as an Industrial University
Cheongwoon University will select 1,052 students, accounting for 94.4% of its total admissions quota, through the early admission process for the 2026 academic year.
At the Hongseong Campus in South Chungcheong Province, applications will be accepted for the College of Performing Arts and Visual Media, College of Hotel and Tourism, College of Creative Convergence, College of Health, Welfare and Nursing, and College of Social Services. The Incheon Campus will admit new students to the College of Engineering, College of Business, and College of Convergence.
As an industrial university, Cheongwoon University is not subject to the six-time application limit for early admissions. For the student record evaluation, the grades of the top three subjects among Korean, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science for each semester are considered, totaling 15 subjects over five semesters.
Within the regular admissions quota, 629 students will be selected through the general admission track, which is based on either the student record or a combination of the student record and a practical skills test. The Cheongwoon Talent Track, which selects students based on 56% student record and 44% interview, will admit 152 students. The Regional Talent Track, which selects 26 students based entirely on student record, is open only to those who have completed their entire high school education in Chungcheong, Daejeon, or Sejong. The Lifelong Learner 1 Track, which selects 95 students through 100% interview, is open only to applicants aged 30 or older.
The practical skills test is conducted for applicants to the Department of Theater Arts and the Department of Practical Music under the general admission track. The interview is conducted for applicants to the Cheongwoon Talent Track in the Department of Performing Arts Management, Department of Hotel Culinary and Bakery Management, Department of Aviation Service Management, Department of Sports Science, and all departments at the Incheon Campus (excluding the Future Convergence Interdisciplinary Major).

Outside the regular admissions quota, there are special admission tracks: the Rural Student Special Track (35 students), Specialized (Vocational) High School Graduate Special Track (14 students), Special Education Needs Student Special Track (4 students), West Sea 5 Islands Special Track (9 students), Basic Livelihood Security and Lower Income Class Special Track (3 students), Lifelong Learner 2 Special Track for applicants aged 30 or older (38 students), Employed Person Special Track (7 students), and Early Employment Contract Department Special Track (40 students). For the Rural Student Special Track, general departments select students based entirely on the student record, while the Department of Theater Arts and Department of Practical Music require a practical skills test, and the Department of Aviation Service Management requires an interview, which is combined with the student record for evaluation.
