Wine experts who best understand the public palate have selected 'Rapaura Springs Bull Paddock Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024' from Marlborough, New Zealand, and 'Chateau des Jacques Moulin-a-Vent 2022' from the Beaujolais region of France as the "hidden gems in the 50,000 won price range."
According to the results of the blind tasting at the '2025 Global Wine & Food Trip' held by Asia Economy on August 28, 2025, at the Marriott Yeouido in Seoul, 'Rapaura Springs Bull Paddock Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024', imported by Keumyang International, received the highest score in the white wine category with an average of 84.43 points. In the red wine category, 'Chateau des Jacques Moulin-a-Vent 2022', a Gamay variety wine from the Beaujolais region of France imported by Shinsegae L&B, ranked first with an average score of 85.0 points.

This blind tasting, now in its fourth year, was organized as part of the Global Wine & Food Trip to discover hidden gem wines currently available in the market. Nine wine buyers from Korea's leading wine retailers (three department stores, three hypermarkets, and three convenience store chains) participated as judges, and a total of 12 wines were submitted by six importers.
