Catholic University Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital announced on August 30 that Professor Taekyu Lee of the Department of Neurosurgery will be inaugurated as the 26th hospital director starting September 1.
The newly appointed director, Taekyu Lee, is a leading authority in the field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. He has received both domestic and international recognition, particularly for his expertise in treating trigeminal neuralgia. He currently serves as president of the Korean Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and is regarded as the ideal candidate to further elevate the status of Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital, which has been responsible for essential and critical care in the northern Gyeonggi region.
