Mungyeong City in Gyeongbuk Province has launched "Generative AI Utilization Training" to enhance the digital competitiveness of public officials and drive administrative innovation.

View original imageOn August 28, the city invited a professional instructor from the Digital Learning Center to the City Hall's IT training room to conduct training for 30 employees. The course covered not only the basic concepts and practical uses of AI, but also important considerations such as copyright and security. It was structured primarily as a hands-on program that could be directly applied to administrative work.
Starting with this training, Mungyeong City plans to operate regular digital competency enhancement programs, aiming to encourage employees to actively integrate AI into their administrative work and achieve service innovation that citizens can truly experience.
Kim Hakguk, Head of Public Relations and IT, stated, "We hope this training will become a driving force for city administration," adding, "We will do our best to strengthen employees' digital capabilities so that we can provide citizens with even more efficient and customized administrative services."
