Chung stressed, "The work we must accomplish in this regular session-prosecution reform, media reform, judicial reform, and party member sovereignty reform-are historic tasks that must be completed without the slightest error, without wavering, and without discord. In this process, the party and the government must unite firmly as one team and one voice and move forward together."
He continued, "With the People Power Party advocating for 'Yoon Again' and reverting to the 'Return of Yoon Seokyeol Party' and the 'Return of the Insurrection Party,' it seems we will once again face a difficult process. We must clearly recognize that the frontlines have been redrawn between those who defend the Constitution and those who destroy it, and between those who protect democracy and those who undermine it. I urge all lawmakers to unite completely so that, in the upcoming regular session, we can steadily pass each law according to the timetable we have set."
Floor leader Kim Byunggi said, "The clock of state affairs, which had been at a standstill, is now ticking powerfully again since the launch of the Lee Jaemyung administration. We have achieved successful, national interest-centered customs negotiations and a Korea-U.S. summit," adding, "The people, who suffered greatly under Yoon Seokyeol, the leader of the insurrection, have entrusted both legislative and executive power to the Democratic Party. We must respond to this stern mandate to create a completely new Republic of Korea by demonstrating the corresponding responsibility and determination."
