Dongyang Life Insurance Restructures Corporate Value System to Reflect Woori Financial Group’s Values
Dongyang Life Insurance, which became a subsidiary of Woori Financial Group last month, announced on August 28 that it has established a new corporate value system to align with the group’s identity and values.
Under the new value system, Dongyang Life Insurance’s vision is to be “a life insurance company that creates tomorrow’s value through today’s innovation.” This vision reflects the company’s commitment to providing greater value to customers by focusing on innovation for the future, based on its market-leading expertise.
The company has also unified its core values and slogan with those of Woori Financial Group. The core values that all employees are expected to share and practice are: ▲Customer (We put our customers and neighbors first) ▲Trust (We build trust through principles) ▲Expertise (We are financial experts leading the market) ▲Innovation (We create the future through innovation). The slogan has been changed to “The First Finance in Our Hearts.”
To embed the new value system company-wide, Dongyang Life Insurance will carry out various initiatives. The company will conduct both online and offline training for all employees, including those in sales channels, and continuously share related information through internal bulletin boards to deepen understanding and empathy for the new value system. Efforts will also be made to actively promote awareness among employees. The company plans to replace the “Vision Wall” at its headquarters and update digital channels such as its website and application, so that employees can engage with and internalize the new value system in their daily work.
This value system will be applied across all aspects of company management, including HR and organizational operations, products and services, marketing and public relations, ESG (environmental, social, and governance), and social responsibility. The aim is for all employees to share the group’s direction and values, and to provide customers with even more advanced services and experiences.
