The video revisits the historical significance of the Gyeongsul National Humiliation and announces a nationwide lyrics contest to create a new song.
"Daehan Lived" is a song sung in prison by Yu Gwansun and seven other female independence activists, who continued the independence movement even after being imprisoned in Cell No. 8 of the Seodaemun Prison for Women following the March 1st Movement. In 2019, to mark the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Movement, music director Jung Jaeil, singer Park Junghyun, and former figure skater Kim Yuna released a new arrangement of the song, drawing significant attention.
Professor Seo stated, "Through the nationwide contest, we will select meaningful lyrics together with Lee Sangsoon and plan to release the official song and commemorative video on next year’s March 1st Movement Day." Lee Sangsoon also commented, "The power of lyrics is truly remarkable," and added, "I will do my best to help produce a great song through this contest."
