With this agreement, joint investment and customized corporate support will be fully launched, providing momentum for nurturing the next generation of unicorn companies.
The district especially expects this collaboration to provide practical solutions for startups with outstanding technology that face difficulties in the commercialization process. It is anticipated to serve as a "bridge" to close the gap between technological capability and marketability, thereby supporting the stable growth of startups.
Mok Seunghwan, CEO of Seoul National University Technology Holdings, said, "The synergy of both organizations' capabilities will strengthen the Gwanak startup ecosystem and contribute to discovering innovative companies that will lead the future."
Meanwhile, the Gwanak Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency, launched in July this year, is working in conjunction with Gwanak S Valley to expand the startup ecosystem by establishing a customized support system for each stage of the startup lifecycle, including technology consulting, open innovation, global expansion support, and fund creation.
