Gyeongsan City and City Council Hold Policy Issues Meeting... Council and Administration Vow to Work as 'One Team'
Gyeongsan City (Mayor Cho Hyunil) held discussions with city council members to address major municipal issues aimed at revitalizing livelihoods and enhancing citizen convenience.
On August 27, the city announced that it had held the "Gyeongsan City·Gyeongsan City Council Policy Issues Meeting" in the main conference room of City Hall, attended by Mayor Cho Hyunil, Council Chairman An Moonkil, city council members, and about 30 senior officials.
This meeting was organized to share key projects directly linked to regional development and the improvement of citizens' quality of life, as well as to strengthen communication and cooperation between the council and the executive branch.
During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on a variety of current issues, including the 2026 main budget planning, construction of a multi-purpose facility at Gyeongsan Jungang Elementary School, expansion of emergency restoration funds for urban parks, establishment of the Jain Senior Welfare Center, expansion of Local Road No. 925 between Sangdae and Hadae, expanded support for shingles vaccination, establishment of an agricultural product safety analysis center, and modernization of Gyeongsan City's water supply network.
Mayor Cho Hyunil emphasized, "We will manage city affairs with an open attitude, and all policies will be pursued with the happiness and convenience of citizens as the top priority," adding, "Moving forward, the council and administration will continue to work together as 'one team,' and I ask for the council's close cooperation."

In response, Council Chairman An Moonkil stated, "I hope today's meeting will serve as a valuable opportunity to resolve Gyeongsan City's current issues and promote future development," adding, "We will do our utmost, together with the executive branch, to create a happier Gyeongsan that all citizens can be proud of."
