Chungnam Office of Education Wins Government Innovation Grand Prize for AI-Based Literacy Platform "Ondok"
Ranked First Among Provincial Offices of Education Nationwide
Overwhelming Support in Public Evaluation
The Chungnam Office of Education announced on August 26 that its case study on the development and operation of "Ondok," an AI-based personalized literacy growth platform, won the Grand Prize in the Provincial Office of Education category at the "2025 Government Innovation Best Practices Competition in the Education Sector."
"Ondok" is a literacy improvement solution developed by the Chungnam Office of Education through extensive research, based on the concept of "thinking tool words." It encompasses a self-directed learning system (Onsaenggak), a scientific reading index (Ondok Index), and a personalized growth platform (Ondok System).
Notably, the office has also filed two patents-one for the system that extracts and classifies lists of thinking tool words, and another for the self-directed learning system-thereby establishing scientific credibility.
With this achievement, the Chungnam Office of Education's best practice will also be submitted to the "2025 Government Innovation Grand Championship" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
