The long-cherished wish of the residents of Sinwol 2-ri, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, has come true with the opening of a new community center.

At the completion ceremony held on the 23rd, more than 80 people, including Mayor Sae Hwan Bang, provincial and city council members, heads of local organizations, and village residents, attended to celebrate the opening.
The newly constructed Sinwol 2-ri Community Center has a total area of 304.92 square meters and consists of two above-ground floors. It is equipped with communal spaces for residents, a fitness room, and kitchen facilities. Through these amenities, residents are expected to enjoy a variety of cultural and welfare activities, contributing to the revitalization of the village community.
Park Sangkwang, head of Sinwol 2-ri, said, "After a long wait, our village's home has finally been completed," adding, "All residents will use it together to create a warmer and more vibrant village."
