AI Policy Proposal Contest to Be Held Until September 14
Seeking Creative Ideas to Enhance Daily Life and Administrative Efficiency with AI
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2025 AI Policy Proposal Contest" from August 25 to September 14, aiming to resolve everyday inconveniences and enhance the efficiency of administrative services by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The contest themes include: creative ideas that can improve efficiency or solve problems through AI technology; and ideas for utilizing AI that can be applied across various aspects of daily life, such as transportation, welfare, safety, and the environment.
Citizens who reside or work in Hwaseong City, as well as public officials affiliated with the city, may apply individually or as a team. Interested participants should refer to the announcement posted on the city hall website and apply via the Naver Form.
The city will select the winning entries through a process that includes an internal review by the relevant department, an evaluation by an AI expert panel, and a presentation review.
There will be a total of six awards, divided into a citizen category and a public official category, with total prize money amounting to 8 million won. The results will be announced on the city hall website and individually notified in November.
