Chairman Song emphasized, "We have the strength that has allowed us to overcome crises. We established a free Republic of Korea, led industrialization, and have defended democracy. When we unite our passion and determination, we can overcome any adversity."
Chairman Song also continued his criticism of the Lee Jaemyung administration.
He remarked, "The special prosecutor, who has declared himself a loyal servant of the Lee Jaemyung administration, conducted a search and seizure at our party's central headquarters, which is the heart of our party. This happened on the day of the joint speech event for Chungcheong and Honam. I cannot help but call them burglars."
He went on to say, "President Lee Jaemyung repeatedly claimed during the presidential campaign that there would be no political retaliation, but if serving a search and seizure warrant at the central headquarters of the opposition party is not political retaliation, then what is it? What they are demanding is the personal information of 5 million party members."
He further emphasized, "With the launch of the government, they formed a cabinet that is a comprehensive set of corruption, tainted by convicted criminals, the queen of abuse of power, plagiarism and thesis copying, real estate speculation, and stock transactions under borrowed names. On the 80th anniversary of Liberation, by pardoning Cho Kuk, Choi Kangwook, and Yoon Mihyang, they trampled on justice and insulted the victims of comfort women."
Chairman Song stated, "The three broadcasting control laws, the Yellow Envelope Act, the even stronger Commercial Act, and the tax reforms being pushed through by the government and ruling party are laws that will ruin the Korean economy," adding, "The only party capable of standing up to and fighting against the reckless Lee Jaemyung administration is the People Power Party."
