[Market Focus] JPI Healthcare Surges 42% on First Day of KOSDAQ Listing
JPI Healthcare is showing an increase of over 40% on its first day of trading on KOSDAQ.
As of 9:20 a.m. on August 21, JPI Healthcare was trading at 28,450 won on the Korea Exchange, up 8,450 won (42.25%) from its initial public offering price of 20,000 won.
During the institutional investor demand forecast conducted from the 1st to the 7th, JPI Healthcare recorded a competition ratio of 942.71 to 1, resulting in the IPO price being set at the upper end of the desired range, 20,000 won. Subsequently, in the general subscription held for two days from the 11th, the competition ratio reached 1,154.54 to 1. The subscription deposit amounted to approximately 4.5604 trillion won.
