Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Launches Employment Support Services for Foreign Residents in the Province
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is operating the "Foreign Employment Support Center" to provide employment support services for foreign job seekers and companies in the province seeking to hire foreign workers.
This support center, which operates online, offers career counseling and tailored job information to foreign job seekers. For companies facing recruitment challenges, it matches them with suitable candidates, focusing on resolving workforce imbalances in local industries.
The main target audience includes foreign residents in the province such as marriage migrants, international students, and migrant workers.
Applications can be made through the Gyeonggi-do Job Portal "Jobaba" (https://job.gg.go.kr), where users can access information on foreign employment support programs and receive personalized job placement services.
Companies wishing to hire foreign workers can submit job postings through "Jobaba" and be matched with foreign job seekers who meet their requirements and desired candidate profiles. This helps address local job vacancies and strengthen corporate competitiveness.
To enhance service accessibility, an "Online Foreign Recruitment Hall" is also available within "Jobaba." By accessing the recruitment hall via the "Jobs for Foreigners" menu at the bottom of the website, users can find information such as special employment lectures for international students, employment programs for marriage migrant women, and recruitment notices linked to the foreign job platform "KOWORK." Both job postings and applications can be easily managed online.
