Daejin University University Job Plus Center announced on the 20th that it successfully held the capacity-building workshop "Simchwi (Simju)" on the 18th at the Humanities Hall for employment support practitioners from universities and related institutions in northern Gyeonggi Province.

View original imageThe workshop was attended by more than 40 employment support practitioners, including representatives from eight universities in northern Gyeonggi Province and consultants from the Pocheon City Job Center. Participants strengthened their job counseling capabilities using generative AI and had time for communication and regional networking.
The one-day workshop included the session "AI Work Innovation: Digital Skill Up," which covered practical topics such as introducing and comparing various AI tools, automating work, and using customized prompts tailored to specific work situations. In particular, the AI-based hands-on exercises and on-site Q&A sessions generated high interest and active participation from attendees.
In the latter part of the program, a "Healing Hour" was held, during which participants created sun catchers using mobiles, providing an opportunity to build camaraderie and relieve work-related stress.
A representative from the Job Plus Center stated, "This workshop was an important opportunity to strengthen the AI utilization capabilities of employment support practitioners in response to the rapidly changing digital era and to establish a collaborative network among universities in northern Gyeonggi Province. Through job counseling services utilizing generative AI, we will be able to provide more professional and effective employment support services to local youth."
Participants commented, "It was very beneficial to learn concrete ways to use AI tools that can be applied directly to our work," and added, "It was a great opportunity to share experiences and network with employment support staff from other universities."

The center plans to continue developing innovative employment support programs that meet the needs of changing times.
