Hapcheon County Conducts 2025 Employee Security Training
Introduction to Security Incident Prevention and Precautions When Using Generative AI
Hapcheon County, South Gyeongsang Province, announced on the 20th that it held the 2025 Employee Security Training for security officers from all departments in the main conference room of the county office.
This training was organized to establish a strict security discipline that public officials must adhere to, strengthen their security work capabilities, and prevent security incidents.
The training covered a wide range of security work topics, focusing on practical examples and guidance on the overall security system, the handling and management of confidential documents, facility security such as protection zones, the importance and threat trends in information security, and regulations and management procedures related to spatial information security.
In particular, the training emphasized security precautions when using generative artificial intelligence (AI), which has seen a sharp increase in usage recently, as well as internet security issues such as spam and phishing, raising employees' awareness and understanding.
Jung Cheolsoo, Director of Administration and Welfare and Hapcheon County’s Security Officer, stated, "A single mistake in security can lead to significant damage, making it a fundamental responsibility for all public officials," and urged, "Each public official should follow the basic rules of security and strive to create a safe organizational environment."
