This training program is an intensive course totaling 20 hours over three days, running until August 20, and aims to nurture key talent for the stable operation and technological advancement of Yangju City's K-Drone Delivery Project.
This course goes beyond simple drone piloting instruction, featuring a practical, hands-on curriculum that covers every aspect of manufacturing and operating drones actually deployed for delivery missions.
Participants will directly engage in the entire process of delivery drone operations, including: understanding drone structures and assembling drones using components such as flight controllers (FC) and motors; installing firmware and configuring software using specialized programs like "Mission Planner"; stabilizing drones through sensor calibration and PID tuning; and planning and practicing autonomous mission flights such as automatic takeoff, route flying, cargo drop, and return.
The city expects that, through this training, it will secure personnel capable of immediate maintenance and technical response on-site in the event of unexpected situations with delivery drones, thereby providing citizens with a safer and more reliable drone delivery service they can trust.
