Xiaomi Korea launched its value-for-money tablet PC, the 'Redmi Pad 2,' priced in the low 200,000 KRW range, in Korea on August 18.
Xiaomi Korea announced that starting at 10:00 a.m. on the same day, the Redmi Pad 2 would be available for purchase through the official Xiaomi online store and at the IFC Mall Yeouido location in Seoul.
The starting price is 219,800 KRW. To celebrate the launch, all customers who purchase the device by September 14 will receive a complimentary pad cover valued at 22,800 KRW. The 'Redmi Smart Pen' is available at a 10% discount for 43,920 KRW (regular price 48,800 KRW).
The Redmi Pad 2 features a 278.1 mm (approximately 11 inches) 2.5K ultra-high-resolution display with 274 ppi pixel density, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos® support, and a large 9,000mAh battery, delivering an outstanding audiovisual experience for watching videos, gaming, reading, and other content consumption scenarios.
The Redmi Pad 2 is equipped with a 90Hz adaptive sync refresh rate, ensuring smooth and highly responsive screen transitions when scrolling, gaming, or watching videos.
The adaptive refresh rate automatically adjusts the screen's frame rate according to the type of content, minimizing motion blur and providing a more natural and comfortable viewing experience for the eyes.
This new product is equipped with a large 9,000mAh battery, enabling up to 86 days of standby time, up to 17 hours of video playback, and up to 234 hours of music playback. Users can enjoy content all day long without the need for frequent recharging.
Additionally, the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 2 is installed, enhancing connectivity with Xiaomi smartphones and supporting various connection features such as file transfer, screen sharing, and multi-screen collaboration.

The device measures 254.58 x 166.04 x 7.36 mm and weighs 510g, providing a comfortable grip and minimizing fatigue even during extended use. It is available in three color options: Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple. The domestic launch prices are 219,800 KRW for the 4GB/128GB model and 269,800 KRW for the 8GB/256GB model.
