HRT Robotics Surpasses 5 Billion KRW in Cumulative Orders, Benefiting from Industrial Automation Demand
HRT Robotics, a company specializing in industrial collaborative robots, announced on August 18 that its cumulative order intake had reached 5 billion KRW as of the end of July this year. This figure is approximately 85% of its total annual sales from last year.
HRT plans to expand its production capacity and sales base in the second half of the year by relocating its Daegu headquarters to a new factory and establishing a new Seoul branch. The company is aiming to achieve 10 billion KRW in annual orders this year. HRT has completed a paid-in capital increase of 5 billion KRW with its parent company, Y2 Solution, and is accelerating recruitment and facility investments based on these funds.
HRT supplies automation systems based on Universal Robots (UR) and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) specialist MiR to a wide range of industries, including automotive, secondary batteries, and food and pharmaceuticals. The recent increase in orders is the result of both higher order volumes from existing customers and new project contracts. Production facilities are currently operating at full capacity, and the company expects to begin recognizing revenue in earnest starting in the second half of the year.
HRT is set to complete its new factory in October. Once operational, the new facility is expected to not only increase production capacity but also enhance efficiency and customer responsiveness. The company has established an integrated production system covering everything from design and manufacturing to installation and after-sales service (A/S). In addition, HRT is focusing on securing next-generation technologies, such as automation lines linking collaborative robots and AMRs, and AI-based vision solutions.
A company representative stated, "The growth in orders demonstrates HRT's technological capabilities and competitiveness," adding, "We will strengthen our business structure around high value-added automation solutions, leveraging expanded production capacity in the second half and synergies with Y2 Solution."
