They worked on removing contaminated materials and sediment from flooded homes, as well as handling damaged items and waste disposal. Meanwhile, Goyang Special City reported a total of 260 cases of damage-including flooded homes, roads, underpasses, and damaged manholes-caused by the torrential rain that fell from August 13 to 14. During this period, Goyang experienced a maximum hourly rainfall of 121 mm and a cumulative precipitation of 270 mm. Fortunately, there were no casualties. As of the afternoon of the 13th, a total of 172 households and 245 people were reported as disaster victims, having evacuated to nearby senior centers or lodging facilities. Goyang Special City maintained Emergency Response Headquarters Level 2, with 350 personnel on emergency duty.
