Dong-A University to Hold Major Forum on New Government Real Estate Policy and Revitalizing Local Markets
August 21 at Dow Hall, Bumin Campus

A large-scale seminar aimed at analyzing the new government's real estate policy direction and exploring ways to revitalize the stagnant local real estate market will be held at 7:00 p.m. on August 21 at Dow Hall, Bumin Campus, Dong-A University.
The seminar, organized by the Real Estate Education Program at Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo), is themed "Exploring the Direction of the New Government's Real Estate Policy and Measures for Normalizing the Local Real Estate Market."
This event has been prepared by the newly established Real Estate Education Program, which aims to professionalize and advance real estate studies. It is designed to enhance Busan citizens' understanding of the new government's real estate policies and to share solutions for revitalizing the regional real estate market, including redevelopment projects for aging planned cities.
The seminar is open to all citizens interested in real estate, and attendance is free of charge.
During the presentation session, Minjun Oh, Research Fellow at the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements, will analyze the direction of the new government's real estate policy; Seokdong Sung, CEO of Sukun General Construction Co., Ltd., will discuss measures to normalize the local real estate market; and Jeongjin Choi, real estate attorney, will give a lecture on "Legal and Institutional Improvements for the First Redevelopment of Aging Planned Cities in Special and Metropolitan Cities," in connection with the master plan announcement for the Haeundae and Hwamyeong areas.
The subsequent comprehensive discussion will be moderated by Jeonggyu Kang, Dean of the Graduate School of Real Estate at Dong-A University, and will feature in-depth discussions with real estate experts such as Youngrae Lee, CEO of Real Estate Survey, Jaeho Jeong, Professor at Mokwon University, and Seongtae Ha, former Director of Architecture and Housing at Busan City Hall.
Dean Jeonggyu Kang stated, "This seminar is part of our open education initiatives for mutual growth with the local community, and it will help Busan citizens analyze the market rationally amid a changing real estate environment." He added, "We will continue to focus on training real estate professionals and educating citizens through programs that bridge theory and practice."
