Everland Twin Pandas Spend Their Last Day with Their Mother
Last Public Appearance with Their Mother on August 12
Official Start of Independent Life from August 13
On August 12, Everland’s twin panda sisters, Luibao and Huibao, who were the first twin pandas born in Korea, were shown to the public for the last time together with their mother. Starting August 13, they will officially begin living independently, leaving their mother Aibao’s side.
Pandas typically become independent from their mothers between one and a half to two years after birth. Accordingly, the twin pandas have been undergoing independence training, gradually increasing the time spent apart from their mother, Aibao. From August 13, visitors to Everland Panda World will be able to see their mother, Aibao, in the morning and the adorable twin pandas in the afternoon.
At the newly opening Panda Second House in September, Luibao and Huibao will be on public display all day once they have completed their adaptation period.
