Yeoncheon County Recruiting Youth for Drone Video Filming and National Certification Course
Applications Open for Eight Participants
First-Come, First-Served from August 18 to 25
Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province will accept applications from August 18 to 25 for eight participants on a first-come, first-served basis through the integrated reservation system on the Yeoncheon County website, as part of the Gyeonggi Province-supported project "Drone Experience Activation Support Project." Selected participants will learn drone video filming techniques and take part in a national professional certification (Drone Type 1) course.
This recruitment is open to Yeoncheon County youth aged 14 to 24.
The training program will be held in cooperation with local drone education centers, running for two months from September 13 to November 16, with a total of 15 sessions. Classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with each participant receiving 200 hours of instruction.
The curriculum is divided into theory and practical components. The theoretical portion covers flight operation theory, aviation meteorology, regulations, and dynamics. The practical portion teaches skills for operating and flying unmanned multicopters through simulated and hands-on flight exercises. By learning video filming techniques and obtaining a national professional certification, participants are expected to enhance their creative content production abilities and prepare for future-oriented careers.
