Haeundae Bumin Hospital (Director: Kang Daehwan) has received certification after earning high marks in the "4th Cycle Acute Care Hospital Certification" conducted by the Korea Institute for Healthcare Accreditation under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. This certification will remain valid for four years, until August 1, 2029.
The acute care hospital certification is conducted every four years to improve patient safety, enhance the quality of medical care, and ensure sustainable hospital operations. This evaluation comprehensively reviewed all areas, including patient safety assurance activities, the medical delivery system, infection control, pharmaceutical and patient management, as well as management and operational systems.
Haeundae Bumin Hospital was highly rated for its patient-centered safety management system, standardized treatment processes, multidisciplinary collaboration system, and ongoing education and training programs. In particular, the hospital received a "Superior" rating in all essential evaluation categories, demonstrating excellence in both patient safety and the quality of medical services.
