Golden Blue to Enter Duty-Free Stores... Diversifying Sales Channels
Entry into Lotte Gimpo Airport Duty Free,
Lotte Internet Duty Free, and Hyundai Online Mall
Golden Blue announced on August 12 that it has decided to enter duty-free stores in order to pioneer new sales channels and increase consumer touchpoints.
Since the duty-free liquor bottle limit (2 bottles) was lifted in March, the duty-free liquor market has been drawing attention for its growth potential. Now, as long as the 2-liter volume limit and the $400 price cap are observed, customers can purchase any number of bottles without restriction.
This time, Golden Blue has newly entered Lotte Duty Free Gimpo Airport, Lotte Internet Duty Free, and Hyundai Duty Free Online Mall.
At Lotte Duty Free Gimpo Airport and Lotte Internet Duty Free, customers can purchase a total of four Golden Blue products: the steady seller 'Golden Blue The Diamond', as well as 'Golden Blue The Sappirus', 'Golden Blue 20 Years Summit', and 'Phantom The Original'. All four products are available at Lotte Internet Duty Free at even greater discounts compared to offline duty-free stores.
The 'Golden Blue' brand section has also been newly established on the Hyundai Duty Free Online Mall. The brand section features 'Golden Blue The Diamond' and 'Golden Blue 20 Years Summit', both of which are offered at reasonable prices compared to offline duty-free stores.
'Golden Blue' products are also available at City Duty Free Incheon Airport and Gyeongbokgung Duty Free Incheon Airport. Four products are available at these locations: 'Golden Blue The Diamond', 'Golden Blue The Sappirus', 'Golden Blue 20 Years Summit', and 'Phantom The Original'.
