SH Selected for TIPS by Ministry of SMEs and Startups... Accelerating Advancement of AI Building Management Platform 'Buildingwang'
SH, the company operating the AI-based building maintenance platform 'Buildingwang,' announced on the 11th that it has been finally selected for TIPS, the technology startup support program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
With this selection, SH will secure a total of 700 million won, including up to 500 million won in research and development (R&D) funding and 200 million won in support for commercialization and overseas marketing. The company plans to implement a step-by-step roadmap that includes ▲advancing the performance of its AI models, ▲developing algorithms to reduce operating costs, and ▲expanding its network of maintenance providers both domestically and internationally.
'Buildingwang' is a platform developed to address inefficiencies in the building maintenance market. Through AI and big data analysis, it automatically recommends customized maintenance schedules tailored to each building's characteristics and applies predictive maintenance technology to detect anomalies in advance. This helps reduce unnecessary costs and time, while its lowest-bid matching feature supports transparent and efficient maintenance transactions.
The domestic building maintenance market still relies heavily on manual management and suffers from severe information asymmetry. The lack of standardized data between managers and service providers frequently leads to excessive estimates or unnecessary work. SH aims to solve these structural issues through data-driven solutions, providing tangible cost savings that building owners and managers can directly experience.
