Yangju City to Hold '2025 Career and College Admission Information Session' for Out-of-School Youth
The Yangju City Out-of-School Youth Support Center in Gyeonggi Province announced on August 11 that it will hold the '2025 Out-of-School Youth Career and College Admission Information Session' over two sessions on August 21 and August 28.

View original imageThis information session has been organized to support out-of-school youth who wish to enter college with their entrance exam preparation.
The first session will take place at 3:00 p.m. on August 21, with the Korea Council for College Education participating to provide practical information such as introductions to college departments and guidance on how to prepare for various admissions processes.
The second session will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 28, featuring Kim Ji-hye, CEO of Dreambean Education Research Institute, who will give a lecture on 'Strategies for Success in College Admissions and Analysis of Admissions Processes.' She will offer tailored advice to youth and guardians preparing for college entrance after passing the qualification exam.
The center reported that last year, 13 out-of-school youth entered college, and in 2023, 7 did so. Currently, the center is running a variety of academic support programs, including one-on-one and group mentoring by college student mentors, online lectures, textbook support, and mock exams.
A center representative stated, "We aim to provide essential resources and strategies to youth preparing for college entrance after the qualification exam, helping them achieve their goals," adding, "We hope many interested youth and guardians will participate."
