Dong-A and Dongseo Glocal Joint University Establishes Multidimensional Student Growth Support System Based on DX Platform
Integrated Support for Joint Majors, Extracurricular Activities, Career Guidance, and Employment
Dong-A University and Dongseo University have launched an initiative to establish a multidimensional student growth support system that encompasses joint majors, extracurricular activities, career guidance, and employment support, utilizing a data-driven DX platform.
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) recently held a 'Glocal Joint University DX Platform (Student Management Module) Joint Operation Working Meeting' in the university headquarters’ third-floor conference room.
The meeting was attended by 16 key officials from both universities, including Shin Yongtaek, Director of Student and Employment Support at Dong-A University; Han Kyungho, Director of International Affairs at Dongseo University; Jeong Dowoon, Director of Student and Employment Support at Dongseo University; and Seong Chikyung, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs at Dongseo University.
This discussion was held as part of the Ministry of Education’s 'Glocal University 30' project, aiming to strengthen the foundation for an unlimited student support system and to foster talent tailored to regional needs. In particular, the two universities plan to expand joint support for students in joint majors and to establish a systematic growth support model by linking student data and sharing extracurricular resources.
Participants at the meeting focused their discussions on: ▲ establishing a cross-consultation system between joint major and Field JA faculty; ▲ jointly utilizing extracurricular programs such as career, psychological counseling, and employment support; ▲ designing career and employment mentoring programs for joint university students; and ▲ setting criteria for granting access rights to the DX platform.

Shin Jimyeong, Professor at the Student Welfare Department of Dong-A University, stated, "This joint meeting serves as a key platform for cooperation to support joint university students in their studies, career paths, and employment," adding, "We will systematically support each student's competencies and growth through the data-driven DX platform."
