SMBC Launches Youth Startup Academy Global Expansion Program
Providing Customized Training for Four Months
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on August 11 that it will officially launch the "Youth Startup Academy Global Expansion Program," newly established for students of the Youth Startup Academy.
This program aims to strengthen the global market entry capabilities of youth startup companies and support the achievement of tangible results, based on the corporation's overseas network and country-specific strategies.
The corporation plans to select 100 companies from the 15th cohort of the Youth Startup Academy that wish to participate, starting with online orientations held on August 6 and August 13. Over approximately four months, it will provide customized, field-oriented training. The main components of the program include: global competency assessment and mentoring; visits to leading local innovative technology companies and startup support organizations; and global demo days and business meetings. The program will be carried out in cooperation with One Tree Hill Ventures, a local accelerator (AC) in Singapore. Even after the training is completed, the corporation plans to continue providing various follow-up support, such as buyer meetings, matching with consultation sessions, and participation in local exhibitions and conferences.
