Initech Signs MOU with Astron Security and Cywell S&B
On August 7, security company Initech announced that it had signed a joint business Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Astron Security and Cywell S&B. The three companies will drive technological innovation and market expansion in key security areas such as zero trust security, the national network security framework (N²SF), and cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP).
The MOU aims to combine the expertise and technological capabilities of the three companies to address both public and private sectors, and to enhance the overall competitiveness of the domestic security industry.
Under the agreement, Initech will provide zero trust-based integrated credential and access management (ICAM) and integrated identity and access management (IAM) authentication solutions. Initech will oversee public and private sector proposal projects and will play a leading role in targeting the financial and public sectors, leveraging its extensive experience and customer trust built in the financial IT services business.
Kim Chulkyun, CEO of Initech, stated, "This agreement will be a turning point that goes beyond simple technological cooperation to transform the security industry ecosystem," adding, "Together with our partners, we will build a next-generation security framework that will lead the market."
Astron Security, which is collaborating with Initech, will be responsible for CNAPP and security information and event management (SIEM)-based cloud security technologies. With the first domestic CNAPP commercialization experience and a variety of customer references, Astron Security will lead the cloud security business.
Cywell S&B, drawing on its experience in infrastructure security such as existing Sinsiway DB encryption, access control, and MonitorLab web firewalls, will continue to collaborate in joint technology development, maintenance, and AI-based data solution fields.
