On August 5, elementary school students from island and remote areas of South Chungcheong Province visited the '2025 World Robo Festa' held at Sangmyung University Cheonan Campus, where they experienced a variety of future technologies.

According to Sangmyung University on August 6, this program was co-hosted by the Sangmyung University Institute for Early Learning for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students and the Buyeo Career Experience Support Center. The students participated in various activities, including attending the International Youth Robot Competition, operating quadruped and biped robots, and conducting experiments using AR and VR content.

As part of the Chungnam RISE Project, Sangmyung University is also running an advanced after-school program at Neulbom School. At the Festa venue, the university attracted attention by setting up experience booths introducing AI coding and creative activities.

Yoo Jaepil, director of the institute and professor of Industrial Engineering, stated, "This World Robo Festa was a valuable opportunity to share Sangmyung University's educational content and infrastructure with participants from Korea and abroad. I hope that elementary school students from island and remote areas of South Chungcheong Province were able to see and learn about AI, content, and robot technologies firsthand and that this experience will help them design their own futures."

Meanwhile, the World Robo Festa was jointly hosted by the Chungnam Content Agency and the International Youth Robot Federation, featuring an AI and robotics startup competition, technology exhibitions, and experience booths.
