Sacheon City to Eliminate Accommodation Overcharges During Peak Vacation Season
Reporting Center Operates Until August 31 During Peak Summer Season
Easy Online Reporting Available for Everyone
Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province is operating an Accommodation Overcharge Reporting Center until August 31, 2025, to coincide with the peak summer vacation season.
An overcharge refers to cases where the actual amount charged by an accommodation differs from the price listed on the posted accommodation rate board.
This Accommodation Overcharge Reporting Center is being operated to prevent unfair practices and to actively protect consumer rights.
To report an incident, users can scan the QR code on the notice with their mobile phone camera, which will automatically open a Naver Form for submission.
Reporters should attach the following: the name of the accommodation used, the date of use, the room type, payment details (receipt), and a photo of the accommodation's posted rate board from the day of use.
