View original imageOn the 3rd, more than 170mm of torrential rain fell in the Hampyeong area in a single day, resulting in flooding of all 41 stores in Hampyeongcheonji Traditional Market and all 27 stores in the alley-type shopping district. In response, Chairman Park personally inspected the flooded sites, visited the affected stores, offered words of comfort to the merchants, and promised to do his utmost to support recovery efforts.
