View original imageOn the afternoon of the same day, at the 2nd Emergency National Party Members' Convention held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, Hwang declared during his policy speech, "I will uphold the meaning of the nickname 'Field Commander' given to me by President Lee Jaemyung."
Hwang emphasized, "We must swiftly and decisively deal with the remnants of rebellion," and added, "We must ensure the success of the Lee Jaemyung administration without fail."
He continued, "We must hold accountable the so-called 'Return of Yoon Sukyeol Party,' which includes Kim Moonsu and Jeon Hangil," and added, "We must clear out all 107 offices of the People Power Party in the National Assembly Members' Office Building."
He also pledged to realize 'party member sovereignty, where the will of the party members drives the party,' and announced that proportional representation nominations for next year's local elections would be decided by a vote of all party members.
He further stressed, "We will improve the lives of local communities and citizens through local autonomy and balanced development," emphasizing, "The nation can only thrive if local regions thrive."
