Korea GM Sells 32,000 Vehicles in July, Returns to Growth After 5 Months
Korea GM sold 32,244 vehicles in the global market in July, marking a 43% increase compared to the same month last year. This reversed the monthly sales trend to an upward trajectory for the first time in five months since February.
In particular, overseas sales led the improved performance, with 31,018 units sold, representing a 52% increase compared to July of the previous year. The Chevrolet Trax Crossover and Trailblazer recorded sales of 18,115 units and 12,903 units, up by 43.8% and 66.0% respectively from the same month last year.
On the other hand, domestic sales in July remained sluggish. Monthly sales in the domestic market reached only 1,226 units.
