The Seongnam Cultural Foundation (CEO Yoon Jungguk) signed a business agreement with the KAIST Art and Technology Center (Director Lee Jinjoon) at the Seongnam Arts Center on August 1, 2025, to promote convergence and cooperation between art and science technology.

View original imageThis agreement was established to foster regional cultural development and create future growth engines through creative collaboration that transcends the boundaries between art and technology, talent cultivation, and joint project promotion. The two organizations agreed to: ▲ conduct convergence research and joint projects in art and technology ▲ develop and operate programs connecting culture, arts, and science technology ▲ jointly host talent cultivation, education, and training programs ▲ share and disseminate research and project outcomes.
In particular, this agreement was signed in conjunction with D-50 of the '2025 Seongnam Festival,' which opens on September 20, 2025. The festival's general director, Professor Lee Jinjoon, also serves as director of the KAIST Art and Technology Center, highlighting not only inter-institutional cooperation but also laying the groundwork for the expansion of various art and technology convergence initiatives, using the Seongnam Festival as a starting point.
