Police Refer Jeonnong Leaders Who Led Namtaeryeong Protest to Prosecution Without Detention

View original imageOn August 1, the Bangbae Police Station in Seoul announced that on July 26, eight individuals, including Ha Wonoh, the head of Jeonnong, were referred to the prosecution without detention on charges of violating the Assembly and Demonstration Act.
According to the police, these individuals are accused of leading the protest of the "Jeon Bongjun Struggle Group" on December 21, 2024, mobilizing about 30 tractors and 50 cargo trucks.
