The Gapyeong County Council in Gyeonggi Province, chaired by Kim Kyungsoo, announced on July 31 that it had visited the flood-damaged site in Sinsang-ri, Jojong-myeon on July 30 to participate in recovery efforts.

View original imageOn that day, council members and staff cleaned out a boiler room that had been flooded with soil due to heavy rainfall, and carried out detailed tasks such as organizing household items and washing dishes in the kitchen and living spaces. They also sorted and transported trash and unnecessary items, contributing to the improvement of the living environment for affected households.
A total of 23 people participated in the recovery work, including 6 council members. Prior to starting the work, safety training was conducted to ensure that everyone could strictly adhere to safety protocols during the activities.
