On weekends and public holidays, food trucks are added in addition to the existing snack bar, and a shaded waiting area is provided under the Janggyo Pedestrian Bridge, creating a more comfortable environment.
The free "Jungnang Children's Water Play Festival" is also receiving great response from residents. At Yongma Falls Park, a water play area is open from July 17 to August 17, and can be used from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After every 50 minutes of use, there is a 10-minute break, and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. the facility is inspected. It is closed every Monday, and simple convenience facilities are also provided on site.
In front of the waterfall at Bongsudae Park, a water play area will be set up from August 9 to 10. In particular, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the "Water Bomb Family Festa" will be held, offering a variety of performances and hands-on programs. All facilities are operated flexibly depending on weather conditions and on-site circumstances.
In addition, the Summer Playground Water Play Area will continue at Sinnae Park and Bongsudae Park until August 24, and for residents who wish to enjoy water play close to home, 14 ground fountains in the district will be in operation until August 31.
During the operation period of the water play areas, the district will maintain constant deployment of safety personnel, conduct water quality checks, and establish a rapid response system according to weather conditions, ensuring that all residents can use the facilities with peace of mind.
