Daejeon Sarang Card Cashback Increased to 10% in August
Monthly Recharge Limit Remains 500,000 Won...
Up to 50,000 Won Cashback Benefits
The cashback rate for the Daejeon Sarang Card, a local gift certificate for the Daejeon region, will be increased to 10% for the entire month of August.
The reason for expanding the cashback rate from the previous 7% to 10% is to support the recovery of the local economy and to assist neighborhood businesses. This increase in cashback is a special measure designed to help overcome the off-season for consumption during the summer vacation period and to support both citizens and small business owners.
In particular, the plan is to maximize the effect of stimulating consumption by linking this measure with the "Daejeon 0 O'clock Festival," which will be held for nine days starting August 8 in the Jungang-ro area. Through this, users of the Daejeon Sarang Card will be able to enjoy even more benefits.
If you use the Daejeon Sarang Card in August, you can receive up to 50,000 won in cashback benefits based on the monthly recharge limit of 500,000 won. However, usage is limited to affiliated stores in the Daejeon region with annual sales of 3 billion won or less, and it cannot be used at certain types of businesses such as department stores, large supermarkets, and entertainment establishments.
Kwon Kyungmin, Director of Economic Affairs for Daejeon City, stated, "Local gift certificates are an important tool for revitalizing the local economy," and added, "We will continue to actively operate the Daejeon Sarang Card in line with government policy directions to support the recovery of the local economy and neighborhood businesses."
